| Poetic Wear-Ware has apparel and giftware with a flair of poetry. The business was developed in 1999 by the owner Sandra Edwards, a native of New York City. |

| She started writing poems in 1995 out of personal sadness, with the death of a childhood friend. That first poem "Untimely Loss" was the beginning of a series of poems that evolved into some of the current products ranging from pet lovers to pregnancy. The first poem is indicated below. |

|
| You left suddenly, not a sign nor clue |
| We wonder why, tell us what should we do. |
| We were not prepared for this untimely loss |
| We are constantly reminded |
| You are always in our thoughts. |
| No longer will breath flow through your soul |
| You won't know your children as they grow old. |
| As each day passes, a thought of you exists |
| Weeping in sorrow on how much you're missed. |
| As you make that journey to the other side |
| Look upon us, for you are our guide. |
| Forever will be sweet thoughts of you |
| Knowing each day you'll see us through. |
